Instead of bagging my leaves, I mulch them with my mower. I also use some of them as the brown material needed in my compost bin.

I spent the weekend at my cabin and although we do not have a compost bin there, I always throw the fruit and vegetable scraps in the field. It keeps it out of the landfill and helps feed the wildlife as well.

I recycle at home and work, but notice a lot of recyclable items thrown in the trash at work. I will go through the trash on a daily basis and recycle at least 3 items per day.
