We were finally able to get everyone together for 20 minutes to take a group photo. Here we are gathered around the big drum that holds our thousands of red wriggler worms. They live in and eat the shredded and dampened corrugated cardboard from the pizza boxes that come through our building. Those boxes would otherwise be trashed and sent to a landfill due to the grease and food remnants. These little guys prevent that, and their waste makes for a fantastic fertilizer! -

JT Davis 10/26/2016 11:58 PMOne challenge I almost regret setting is the one where I conserve water by only flushing when necessary. It can sure make a restroom smell, and it makes me have to clean it more often. -
JT Davis 10/24/2016 10:54 AMCan anyone suggest a good food related documentary?-
Debra Kennedy 10/25/2016 3:22 PMFood. Inc. - it will make you yell at the TV 'cause you're so mad! -
Chauntel Vaillancourt 10/25/2016 4:34 AMHave you seen Man Fire Food on Netflix? It talks about how Roger Mooking travels the US to showcase the many creative ways people cook with fire. Looks interesting. -

JT Davis 10/23/2016 12:37 AMHad a party tonight to celebrate my wife's birthday. Only washable flatware, plates, and cups were used. That means a lot of dishes for me in the morning, but it feels good to know we had minimal waste! -
JT Davis 10/21/2016 4:02 PMSo nice that we can go back and check-in on days when we'd forgotten before!
