October 28 at 2:20 PMI went to the doctor today and I told the health care professional about healthy purchasing. She didn't know that make up didn't have to declare all of the ingredients. For example most make up has formaldehyde and mercury. Both chemicals of concerns because they pose a danger to health.

October 28 at 2:17 PMYesterday I bought food for houseless people. I bought fruit and veggies and gave it to a thankful street resident. I know I am suppose to go to the Food Bank or Urban Gleaners, but the store was right by a camp!

This is a big shift for me that has been coming for quite some time and this year's EcoChallenge was exactly what I needed.
