Last night of this challenge but it has gotten me back into meal planning and being budget-conscious again. I enjoyed the quiet dinners (aka-engaging in conversations uninterrupted by electronics) and hope to continue family night table dinners/conversations.

Shrimp-fried rice with some broccoli and onions help me use the left-overs to recreate another meal. WIN!

Watched Fed Up tonight...just reinforces my opinion of finding the truth by following the money. Not sure how 'healthy' processed food is??? Hmmm, I think I'll learn healthy without your help or products

Tonight's dinner is a family favorite - chicken curry in a hurry. Chicken curry over rice with grilled asparagus on the side. Yummy!

Now that I live further out if I don't bike in I use the train.  It takes a bit longer than if I drove in, but I didn't buy my car to use it to get to work.  I bought it to get out of town more often so that my girlfriend doesn't have to drive all the time.

Waste not, want not...Tonight was a simple, use up the rest of the sandwich meat and cheese in a grilled panini, steamed veggies and side salad. Dinner topic was the news about the gas line on 23rd and prayers for those affected by it.
