Parker Grimes 10/29/2016 10:40 AMWhile I didn't have any issues brushing my teeth without water, or flushing only when it was needed, I only managed to keep my showers under five minutes for about half of the challenge. However, I'll definitely try and keep my showers short after the challenge because I cut my average time by half. -
said agha zakhel 10/29/2016 3:11 AMI did all my challenge for the last day. played cricket with of my friends and then I went to the gym played some basketball for like 2 hours. I did not used any disposables stuff and took 5 mintues after I finished everything else. -
Jared Streifel 10/28/2016 11:09 PMAs the challenge finally comes to a close, I am surprised by the outcome of my waste collection. At the start of the first week, I thought I would possibly fill up an entire garbage bag. However, I was able to fill it up less than halfway. I don't know if I simply just overestimated the amount of trash I produce, or maybe I thought more about each decision that would add to my waste bag. Either way, this was an interesting experience and I really enjoyed it. -
Ellen Lion 10/28/2016 4:05 PMToday I walked to the store between classes instead of riding the bus. The beautiful weather is what inspired me. I enjoyed the peaceful glow of day, as I planed the rest of my time. -
Laura Tankersley 10/28/2016 3:21 PMBringing my reusable container to school during the day saved on plastic waste and money I would have spent to purchase water. Also I didn't buy soda during the day which is more healthy. I will continue to do this from now on. -
Laura Tankersley 10/28/2016 3:14 PMMy chicken's really enjoyed the compost portion of this challenge! They took care of all non meat compost besides coffee grounds which went to my composting bin. -

Kendra Bush 10/27/2016 11:32 PMTomorrow is the last day of our challenge and I'm honestly going to miss getting points for doing this stuff. Most of it will stay with me. Turning the lights off when I leave a room, shutting off the water when I brush my teeth, taking five minute showers; I'm more conscious of all of them now. I'll definitely do this again next year on my own and get people to join me. -
Jonathon Phillips 10/27/2016 7:41 PMTomorrow I will be going to an old growth forest for two days of hiking. So I will be ending this particular challenge with a bang. This will be a fantastic way to finalize the assignment and give myself one hell of a work out. -
Alexandria Caron 10/27/2016 7:11 PMWas pretty good at avoiding refined sugars today while at school, however I'm really craving a Starbuck's coffee right now because I'm falling asleep and I need to stay awake for another four hours.
