Barbara Fisher 10/28/2016 11:15 AMIt's been a fun time checking in and being accountable. It has gotten easier as I've gone. I'm not sure 2w is enough to form the habit. I still use the competitive nature of the team check in to keep me honest, but I'll keep doing these items. -
Barbara Fisher 10/27/2016 9:39 AMI did my second 1-time thing last night. It was some learning, and now I can't stop thinking about it. I suppose that was the point, eh? :) -
Mike Mercer 10/27/2016 8:23 AMBread heels! Our freezer has five or six bread bags with one or two heels. This morning I looked up multiple solutions to use them as human food vs food for the crows and jays. After examining the options, I went with crow and jay feed. -
Barbara Fisher 10/26/2016 1:08 PMHappy rainy day! It feels good to be getting in the rhythm of these little actions. -
Mike Mercer 10/25/2016 10:51 AMGonna have some leftovers for lunch. Now if I could just find a way to turn all those acorns outside into something tasty! As it is, they'll just become compost.

Barbara Fisher 10/25/2016 9:57 AMI'm getting in a rhythm of this now... I do my actions along with my work email to start the day. Ezpz! -
Barbara Fisher 10/24/2016 2:35 PMI'm super happy about my challenge choices today... I'm going through a rough patch. I gotta say... Doing the gratitude project has helped stabilize me. I know this will mostly pass by 12/1, but these next 5 weeks are going to be a ride. I'm terrified and excited. And, y'know... Thankful. -
Barbara Fisher 10/23/2016 3:22 PMLoving this weather this weekend. Going beyond my challenge with not driving, yard work, etc. it's a successful day when the kids join in. Yay! -
Barbara Fisher 10/22/2016 5:43 PMI won a chinook book for gathering points here! What a treat. :-) I haven't looked through it yet, but I will. -
Barbara Fisher 10/21/2016 12:29 PMOne of my goals is around gratitude. I am doing a daily gratitude project, but this challenge adds the additional "write a thank you note daily"... Today, I saw someone that I've been writing about in my gratitude journal, so I told him the thanks out loud and to his face. Not writing a note, but it was nice to do. I took credit for my writing a note. :)
