BPA Feed

BACK TO TEAM PAGE

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

Well, here we are at the end of the challenge. And while I am motivated to continue, I will miss using my Dashboard to remind me what I need to be doing and thinking about. And when will I get to do this again? Next year? That's too long. I would like to see this grow to where it is done quarterly, with many green industries offering prizes for participation and most improved scores. Overall, I have enjoyed this challenge. My awareness has greatly increased, with my desire to do it moving from, "how does this help me", to understanding how this helps the community. This is bigger than me. It's local effort with global results. Thank you for having the ECOCHALLENGE. And thank you to all of you that contributed, and hats off to all those who have committed to a new way of living. Yours in spirit, in nature and in love, Brother Rog.

Nearing the end of the Challenge! I'm not sure I'll be able to maintain *every* habit I tried to create long-term, but I know that I'll see some lasting benefits from this exercise.

Had a great visit with my doctor. She is encouraged by my effort to complete my eco challenge. All of these efforts are having a huge positive impact on my perception of my daily life. The routine has purpose. The mundane is now interesting and something to share with others. I am really excited about continuing this challenge on a more permanent basis. I think being able to blog about it helps the most as it validates my experience and gives me a chance to look back at other posts and see how far I have come in taking a responsible and caring attitude toward my personal impact on our collective environment.

Working on this project has brought an awareness of my actions and my impact on the world around me. I now see the direct positive effect my few actions have. I am excited to further commit to this way of living, where I can make positive contributions, lead by example, and help others to become aware of how they too can have a successful journey that has such wonderful benefits for our lives and the environment.
