Took a great lunch walk at Van Lake today. Beautiful...yep!

Ok. I may not do any yard work today. I do something everyday but not in this rain.

I wish my walking would result in some weight loss.

Sunday my kids and I hiked trails that we had not hiked before at the CASSEE center.....lots of cool things for them to see (as well as mud)

This challenge has given me another reason to make sure my family is recycling ALL film plastic! "Even that bread bag?"  Yes mother! 

I love seeing all of the different ideas that this website gives us, on being healthier and wiser about what we do for ourselves and the environment.

Practicing gratitude for the earth through being outside and journaling my thoughts each day has really helped me to expand my thinking about my daily influence on ecology and sustainability. This simple self-reflection about my impact on the earth keeps me grounded (da dum tss!)

I have a favorite mug that I use daily, and on it is a sticker I received from work always reminding me, "got bag?"  This is a great little reminder to think ahead and to take my reusable bags to the grocery store.

This is the first time I've logged in! All I know is the City of Vancouver is going down! Watch out!!!!

Perfect time of year to be outside to enjoy nature!  The colors are amazing!!!
