Another successful cessation day. The crispness that I gain from the fresh morning air better than anything I could ever waste my time and money with. 

This has been a great challange that has trickled in to many lives that touch mine.  I will keep it going!

Well I've been slow to update my dashboard, but finally catching up. This event is a great way to challenge my self-assessment of being very conservation-minded; there's always a lot more we can each do!

I can feel a shift in my awareness and daily patterns related to avoiding disposable plastic. Cool!

I guess I have been on somewhat of a streak. I tend to forget to log in during the weekends but I am glad to be updating consistently. The cessation progress is all normal - nothing to report here. 

Its almost time to compost the garden. i will be hoping the weather dries out my leaves enought to rake over my flower beds and garden this week. Leaves make excellent bed cover from freezing temperatures, compost into your soils, and provide cover for insects, mice, gophers, etc in the winter....

My recycle can is larger than my garbage can. I try to recyle as much stuff as my area recycles

I have reusable containers I wash 

When I need to print I am using two sided printing settings

I have adjusted my thermostat for the season
