Amy Goshe 10/28/2016 6:28 PMThe sun is setting close to 6:30 now. At the beginning of the challenge it was closer to 7. I appreciate the sunrise/sunset app I installed, but I will be happy to uninstall it! -

Katy Alberti 10/28/2016 7:26 AMI am going to try and continue the water catchment system I've got going on. I did it last year and kept it up for a while and then fell off the wagon. I want to try to do it for a whole year this time. It was hard to complete some of these challenges while traveling. But I did much better at turning off my computer than I thought I would. I'll keep that up for sure. It's something super easy to do every day. The Challenge went by fast, but it's always a good reminder of how to be more earth-friendly every day!-
Lisa Cherry 10/28/2016 7:30 AMI agree... turning off the computer was an easy task. I just wonder why things like this aren't enforced in the work place since it would also help the company save money on its electricity bill!

Leonard Black 10/28/2016 6:28 AMI completed my online home energy audit, but the results don't really reflect my solar power system because it is too new. It won't be until next year at this time when I can enter 12 months of utility bills that I will see how much less energy I'm purchasing from the grid. I can report that my solar system has generated 761 Kwh in about three and a half weeks, not bad for cloudy October when the days are getting shorter! -
Rita Haider 10/28/2016 5:06 AMWell today is the last day, I wish I had done better, I hope I can next year. I did get some good conversations going with people that did go and check their electric consumption. My plan is to study those numbers monthly and see what I can do to make them lower. -
Pamela Patzsch 10/27/2016 6:01 PMI have been out of town since Saturday and could not fit my nature walk in for the last few days. Made it to my favorite MetroPark today and walked to the Adena Mound. -
Amy Ceccoli 10/27/2016 1:29 PMI'm dong better at the challenge than I am at logging in. Been nursing our dog, Gomer. He had a lump removal surgery and he's feeling much better. It's great that he's on the mend but keeping him still is the challenge now. Loving the fall weather, the colors of the trees, the chill in the air. It will be nice when Gomer's stiches come out and we can resume our longer daily walks. Couldn't believe I was still harvesting things from my garden as of Oct. 23rd! -
Mariellen Miller 10/27/2016 11:49 AMHey, I have 245 points as of today! I feel really good. It is a very good experience. Hope it is going well for you! -
Rita Haider 10/26/2016 3:21 PMI bought my ticket today to attend the Simply Living Annual dinner and meeting on Thursday, November 10th with the extra treat of hearing the guest speaker, Frances Moore Lappe'.-
Amy Ceccoli 10/27/2016 12:37 PMWoo-Hoo! See you there.
